Welcome to Advanced Level State Biotech HUB (Assam)

         The Advanced Level State Biotech Hub (SBTHub), Assam is an initiative of Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India with a view to promote research and manpower development in the North-Eastern Region. It started functioning as State Biotech Hub in the year 2010 and was then upgraded to Advanced Level State Biotech Hub in 2016. The Hub was set up at College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara, Guwahati-22.The second phase of the Advanced Level State Biotech Hub has been started from March,2022.

Thrust areas of research at Advanced LSBTHub:
* Molecular diagnostics.
* Microbial genetics.
* Reproductive Biotechnology.
* Molecular characterization of indigenous species of animals.
